Fisherman knits were originally created in Ireland. They were worn by guess who ….duh, Fisherman. As seas were rough sadly many men perished. They would eventually wash up on shore. The only way to identify them was by the cable pattern of their sweater. Each region had a unique cable pattern.
today we just wear what looks good and feels good!
These sweaters are knit with the Pima cotton closest to the body and the merino wool on the outside. Great for an early fall country walk
